事業内容	MD事業部では、パソコンのハードディスクドライブ(HDD)に記憶媒体として装着される、磁気メモリーディスク用ガラスサブストレートを開発・製造しています。現在昭島R&Dセンターにて開発・試作を行い、タイ・ベトナムで製造しベトナムに開発拠点も有しています。当社の製品はパソコンのみならず、需要が急速に伸びているクラウド用の記録装置としても貢献していきます。 オプティクス事業部では、高付加価値のガラス材料や、非球面ガラスレンズを強みとし、従来のデジタルカメラ市場に加え、車載用レンズや監視カメラといった現在成長、または今後の成長が見込まれる市場において、当社の製品の拡販を進めます。 The MD Division develops and manufactures glass substrates for magnetic memory disks, which are mounted as storage media in hard disk drives (HDDs) of personal computers. We are currently developing and prototyping at Akishima R & D Center, manufacturing in Thailand and Vietnam, and also having a development base in Vietnam. Our products will not only serve as personal computers, but also as recording devices for the cloud, where demand is growing rapidly. In the Optics Division, our strengths are high-value-added glass materials and aspheric glass lenses, and in addition to the conventional digital camera market, we are in the market where growth is expected or growth is expected such as automotive lenses and surveillance cameras. We will promote sales of our products.
主な業務内容	＜MD事業部＞ ①ガラス基板サブストレートの生産技術及び製造業務 ガラス基板サブストレートの精密加工ではサブミクロン単位の形状精度と表面粗さの平滑精度が求められ、その品質を維持しながら、海外工場で量産しています。当部門はグローバル市場において圧倒的なトップシェアを獲得しています。 1. Production technology and manufacturing business of glass substrate In precision processing of glass substrate substrates, shape accuracy in the submicron range and smoothness accuracy of surface roughness are required, and mass production is carried out at overseas factories while maintaining the quality. The division has an overwhelming top market share in the global market. ＜オプティクス事業部＞ ①光学ガラスの開発業務 デジタルカメラ、監視カメラ、車載カメラ向けなどの光学ガラス材料の開発を担当します。主に、新材料の開発を担当します。 ②光学ガラスレンズの開発業務 光学ガラスレンズの成形技術開発、型開発、製造装置の設計・開発、等を担当します。 1. Development work of optical glass In charge of development of optical glass materials for digital cameras, surveillance cameras, and in-vehicle cameras. Mainly responsible for developing new materials. 2.
